Reviews and Ratings
Puri Sunia Resort is set in a beautiful natural environment, providing a tranquil escape from the bustle of Ubud. The hotel features lovely, traditional decor and offers great dining options. However, some rooms may vary in quality, and the location requires reliance on shuttles or taxis to reach Ubud center, which can be inconvenient for some guests.
Puri Sunia Resort is a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, nestled among beautiful rice paddies. The pool villa we stayed in was a romantic paradise with a plunge pool, and the breakfasts served at the Abangan restaurant were truly exceptional. The staff expressed genuine warmth, making our stay memorable. However, the occasional sounds of local wildlife could be a distraction, and while everything was wonderful, I feel there are areas for improvement to reach perfection.
I had an absolutely wonderful time at this resort. The tranquility and privacy made for a perfect getaway, while the easy access to Ubud's vibrant culinary scene was a bonus. The upgrade to a pool villa was an unexpected delight, and the various dining options far exceeded my expectations. However, it would be nice if the yoga schedule was updated on the website. Overall, it was a relaxing experience that I would highly recommend.
During my stay, I found the hotel experience quite mixed. While the surroundings were tranquil and lush, the distance from Ubud center made it a bit challenging unless you utilized the shuttle service. My room had a very high level of humidity, which was uncomfortable, but the friendly and attentive staff helped make my stay more pleasant. In contrast, the breakfast service was chaotic, and I had some frustrations with the ordering process. Overall, it's a decent option but definitely has room for improvement.
This resort offers a delightful escape just outside the bustling village of Ubud, surrounded by lush rice fields and nature. The staff are genuinely kind and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The dining options are fantastic, especially at the rooftop restaurant, though the shuttle service could be improved. Overall, it's a wonderful place for relaxation after a day of exploring.
